 Thanks to all who made the effort to come along to the annual moose meet on the weekend. We had people who drove up from Nelson, Hokitika and even Orewa! The weather was awesome. Cheers to the guys with 4x4 and trailer who built the big arse bonfire. Perrin for the unique drunken fireworks display. They guy who bought along his generator so we could have some sounds. Loads of good buggying to be had. Perrin got the record for the longest time spent in a buggy. From 8am sun morning till 5:30pm. He must have covered at least 200km.... Sunday we were blessed in the morning with 25 knot easterly. The boys scored it with incomming tide and a large flat water lagoon. Kited untill 6pm sunday night. The Rav 4 rental provided some great entertainment. Will supply helmets for the passengers next year!! Awesome event, great crew. Enough said. Later.....

nice one! very sorry i couldn't attend. i was an unbeliever on account of the light SE on saturday, went fishing instead and got spanked by the building NE, 30 knots by the time we were navigating the rubber duckie home at 9.30pm - but we got a result - 12 solid schnaps including one 8 pound moocher i captured at the last drop...
