Forecast doesnt look very good. Light SW forecast for saturday and light E forecast for Sunday. Can that spot handle an easterly?

Are any kiteboarders still going?

:shock: It will be epic no matter what the wind does. You can kite in the kaipara harbour in an easterly no prob. There will be a mix of kitesurfers,buggys and landboarders. Plus a bunch of alcoholics with fireworks etc... oversized bonfire, midnight madness etc.. Leave your morals at home and you will have a fab weekend.

just sacrifice a kite to the wind gods.... and if all else fails the heat from the fire should stoke up a sea breeze.

anyone gonna try to see how many skyrockets are needed on the side of a buggy to get moving?

allways a fun no wind activity.
eastern beach hates my guts because i did a big crap in my wetsuit whilst out there kiting 6 years ago. That's why i'm the most unpopular kiter in NZ. Beast from da east reprazent mutha f#$$%@ers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
