F-one has just FedExed a demo of this revolutionary new kite to New Zealand!

Demand was so high us Kiwis could only get the one unit even after pleading for more!

Check out f.one's website or these guys for more info.

Do you know if the front bridal where the pulleys run, have an easily replaced wear section or does the entire V line have to be replaced?
Looking forward to seeing how it compares to everything else on the market, should be fun.

The Bandit has Landed

...and a very stylish unit she is too in Kiwi black and white - 11m

Was @ St Heliers today in around 10kt

All who rode her could stay upwind... nuff said there I think

My limit was beach slides / jumps thanks to tender ribs

Light on the bar, very stable but turns on a dime. Easy to fly one handed and cranks around way fast when needed. Was lifting my 85+kg easily a metre in the gusts from a standing start

Was astonished at the turning speed when anyone looped her. They all said the power delivery was smooth and even, especially out of the turns

Clean profile and looks like a Bow in the air but without the spider-web crap at the front. Only six lines support the kite. Doesn't have the ungainly wobble of the Sigma Naishes I've seen or that horrible, scary flutter and luff of the TD and early Waroo

Has a cleverly integrated safety system which makes for really clean line setup with what looks like three lines at the bar but is really four

The kite will be out again tomorrow same place around 11am for low tide so take it for a spin. Should be some serious air to be had if the forecast pans out!

hahahahaha tried the Bandit today and it freakin kicks some serious ass. very very very stable, lots of steering pressure but kite still turns fast if pull hard so in short a wicked setup.

had Phil's 11m up today and and this thing had some serious grunt to it. ALLWAYS lit up on it even in Pine Harbour lulls.

Oh yes and a very simple line setup for those who don't like bow bridles.

more like a hybrid i reckon. that's the safest description of the kite but then again hybrid can mean anything these days. the c quad was also a hybrid and the wierd thing is this kite has a similiar shape so in its own special way you COULD call it a "c kite"

but what i do know is that it was the gruntiest 11m pump up kite i've ever used.

All we do is kiteboarding

We are in this business by passion not by trend.

F-one started at a time where no one believed in the future of kite.

F-one is a venture though off and managed by one rider. A melting pot of characters, which advances following the rhythm of a common adventure.

Our offices are located 10 minutes from the sea. Being on the water as much as we can is a priority .

F-one is 100% kite-boarding brand, with a spirit turned to the future. Enjoying what we do, pushing the limits is part of our job, its rather a good thing.

We are directly connected to the field, listening to schools, distributors, shops, pro riders as well local riders.
