If you have, would love to hear about it and if its worth going for a purists kiting holiday

huahine is a particularly great kiting location with the sickest lagoon and reef pass waves i have ridden on. these are located on the south side of the island. french polynesia is teeming with other great spots but huahine is one of the best, a little bit off the beaten track, more down to earth and far less expensive as elsewhere.

you are correct - i am a legend. the best accom is on board a yacht parked in the lagoon. byo.

where else would you reccommend in tahiti that has a balance of kiting and night life.

bora bora. downside - literally the most expensive place on the globe.

We are planning to do a trip to Tahiti in late July/August (Best time for the wind), for a purist kiting holiday.

At the moment we are deciding the exact dates but will let eveyone know ASAP. Limited to 12 places, this should be awesome! From what I hear this is one of the best places in the world to kite.
