Last week Tim Ian and myself went to Omaha for the day !!
I took a few pictures on my SLA.

It was hot.. the water was clear !! a bit like kiting in your pool :roll:

77km from Takapuna.. cant go wrong in any Easterly.
The last picture of Tim is a classic pose. He will never forgive me if he gets to see it on here.. but has to be shown.

Omaha's a great spot to visit but as yet I have never kited there... what's the wind like there compared to Orewa? Could be wortha mish up there one of these days.

Kiteking I am glad to know you have got to a stage were you can now jump. We would all love to see a few pictures of you "jumping". You must be a very skilled ridder to be able to "jump" so high.

One day I would like to make the trip over to the naki :roll: .

Next time I will remember to put the kite down before getting a photo taken.

I was at Omaha on Sat for another session.
There was no one else their and enough wind to get back up wind.
Its well worth the extra few KM's except there are no German tourists. The guys at Orewa said it was packed and light

You should see the video footage of the German! The boys laughed out loud when they saw it...I don't think you've heard the last of it yet!

Orewa was packed out and pretty light...Gav was out on a 19 with a surfboard and the rest of the boys had some pretty big kites up...

Problem with Murawai is the footage is always to fare out at low tide. Let me know if you have any good footage.

I want to make another clip for www.kite-surf.com I still have FTP access for uploading video clips. The last one was just a test !! I have some new ideas. Problem is when the wether is good and wind is cranking... I want to be out 2 :? ..
