I'll be traveling to NZ by the end of March on work and after that i plan to get 4 or 5 days vacation top kyte surf. Probably from the 29th to the 4th or 5th April.
The problem is i'm travelling alone and i would like to make some contacts in order not to Kite alone, some informations about the spots and of what wind i should expect for that period!

Hi Konde. You'll be here the same time as the very successful fancy dress kitemeet... so on sunday April fools day head to Orewa (NE), Shakers or Muriwai and you'll see us all there.

Lots of big kite NE action at that time of year... from what i've experienced anyway. but as allways anything can happen. Orewa for a NE, Shakespear Bay for a SW and Muriwai for west coast waves and excellent wind conditions. There are plenty of other spots too...

PM me if your keen as i finish work at midday and will be keen on kiting afterwards.

If you're heading south of Auckland - 1st choice place to call in for a travelling kiter would be Raglan.

Call in to Koha for a morning coffee on Volcom Lane & you are bound to meet some local kiters who can help you out.
