Slingshot makes 2003 Best of CNN


The Slingshot Story segment, which originally aired in late summer, was chosen by CNN producers and staff for CNN's Best of 2003. The piece will air live on Christmas Day and New Year's Day worldwide.

CNN's Newsnight with Aaron Brown first aired the Slingshot piece for their "On The Rise" segment in August. "On The Rise" features progressive, young,
up-and-coming companies with recipes for success. Amidst bombings in Baghdad and Arnold running for governor, the Slingshot story was one of the most popular segments of the year amongst CNN staff.

Unless there is major breaking news, The Slingshot Story will air again Thursday, December 25 and Thursday, January 1, 2004 at the following times:


North America: 7 pm Pacific / 10 pm Eastern
Europe/Africa/Middle East: 3 am GMT
Asia Pacific: 12 pm (Noon)
South Asia: 8 am
