Was there wind? Did anyone win? Did Cookie get naked? Was there any alcohol left in town by the time everyone left? If a kiter makes a handle pass in the middle of a forest, does anyone care?

All I know is they had wind today and Jamie won the opens.
Well done buddy !!

If any one has pictures.. please upload some.

Come on people! We need some pictures! You've all been back a day now - we want pics of the sausages and nuclear sunburn. And Cookie blurring the boundary between both.

what a good trip,

got a few pix, upload them tomorrow

falling off when going in a straight line during your heat is not good style... doing 3 times? hmmmm.........

tried my 10th kiteloop ever in the last minute, didn't break any gear, got the 16m round ok. must do some more!
harbour boosting, sideways buggying, harwood speed gps'ing, sometime kiteskiing, wave/washing machine kiting, gear breaking, driving about chasing the wind....

The FrenChCh crew realized that these hot and sunny Nelson conditions were actually a bit overhyped and decided to protest by scoring a nice session in typical invigorating Chch waters, in the dark...
because...
At night you don't need sunscreen!, heck no!

Back to the point... the Sunday evening session was absolutely magic in terms of light and smooth conditions.

In terms of competition, shxt, it was really impressive! Some young guns, (and some old fellas) putting up a show made of moves ballsy to the bone, and without even any bionicle set of knees for landing, as far as I know...

great, great, great event!
all we do is Portnawake
