Hey are these just rumours or are these guys really coming over here? It's so rare to have riders of this calabre visit NZ and it would be soooo good to have them come over. I do wish they would come over more often. Why are we left out all the time?

PS: I hope this isn't some sick joke that someone dreamed up.

Shannon Best of BEST Kiteboarding along with Clinton Bolton dropped into visit NZ this year already. Lucky for us the weather was awesome.

And yeah I agree it's great to have such high profile names in the industry drop in for a kite session with the crew.
I was talking to Shannon a couple of weeks back and he is real keen to visit NZ again. He was in Japan at the time and I was trying to get a few words from him for the new issue of Wind and kite. (SKYPE is awesome and FREE). Bloody good sequesnce shots in the mag too.

So the good news is we are aiming for another BEST visit real soon.
Hopefully November! I'll put a post up soon as the dates are confirmed.

And Clinton, well Clinton is in South Africa at the moment (I think) and i know his web site is up to date with his news at Clintonbolton.com

Add Suzi Mai to that list. She will be in Auckland for a demo day in the NEAR future. Dates and event to be announced, but I will let everyone know what is happening as soon as we have a plan. She is one of the best riders in the world, and will be showing off the new Cabrinha kites.
