Yeah cheers to everyone who made the effort to come along. Was the best turn out ever in the history of the moose.Approx 60 kiters. 2 days of sun and good winds.
Thanks to Ted and the Nelson crew, Tim Stockman all the way from chch, team Decay,Tony from Hokitika who had to drive from chch sunday night for 4 hours to get home at 2am. Cheers to Gavin for providing the thunder cat as a rescue boat. Does come in handy when you are in the middle of know where and gettin swept out to sea! Thanx to booty for taking a swag of good pics. Keep an eye out for story and pics hopefully in the next issue of wind and kite. See ya all up there next year. Final thanx to John who has since bailed to the U.K for supplying the 8m Monkey kite that was torched to please the wind gods. Seem to work a treat.

What a sick weekend , that had to be world class .... sun shine , flat water great wind up to 30+ kiters on the water at once ripping . I had a wicked time , will never forget it ! Thanks to Kent and Perin , all the people who traveled far to be there and everyone else , was great to share that magic spot with yoall . Great pics Peat ! Cheers , what a trip !

Just to say thanks to the organisers of a primo meet - great winds and some sick kiting! Just getting into the sport (my cuz and I managed to collect each other in the traffic on the lagoon on day 1!) but had a blast. Will be back next year with more of the East Coast crew.
