Sweet day in Rags today nice steady 15-18kts (pretty much the same as it's been all week).
There was a small Auckland crew down to enjoy the magic carpet in the channel - lets hope the 'ol breeze kicks in again tomorrow....

It's been kiting here for 8 days in a row - if you had the time.

kite/surfed some double-overhead bar bombs on Wednesday - scary fun!

Same here Sean, except for the overhead bombs - its been 7 days straight of 15 knot W at Karoro Rd (cross onshore) here in Ruakaka with perfect afternoon tides. Been sunny everyday too - I can't remember another week that has been so consistent.

Most crowded day we have ever had there yesterday, 12 kites on the water at one time - a year ago it was 2 - if this keeps up we'll get to busy!

All the crew were stoked with there day, both Su and I were doing lessons with new riders, plus some of our recent students were out for there first solo sessions.

As for the hippy, no sight of him this side of AKL either!

FIVE girls yesterday and SEVEN today... its all gooooood... I don't think I have ever seen that many ladies at the beach in one day in NZ (except for the Nats but that didn't count). I reached a new level in my riding today thanks to Mike lending me his kite. VERY happy with the weekend... Rolled into the driveway tonight at the same time as Jojo & the Hippy... an he's still breathing.

Nice little crowd at the pub afterwards all planning moose meeting....
