hi there wondering if anyone new anythign bout wind in tonga in late september

well i went and came back and maneged to just get going on mi 12 mtr cabrinha crossbow.... agenst a boat wake hahah so suming it up the wind in tonga sucks

Hi Blair,

I went to Tonga in early July of this year.
I had a blast and kited 9 out of 14 days. I took my 16m Rhino 05 and used it 8 of the 9 days I kited. The other day was on my 12m.

Apparantly Tonga has two distinct seasons for wind, more info here:

If you want info regarding where to stay etc for best kiting, I know the north west coast has mint surf reefs, and an island I stayed on near the main city of Nukualofa had kiting 360 degrees around it.

Tonga is an under-rated, cheap and wicked place to kite. I'm definately going back.

yea, i kno a guy who sailed up there last year and he was saying it was windy as hell everyday, just bad luck brock didnt get any
