doin my rounds at the coast 2day,sun. and spoted a marko of round 2- 2.5 mts about 200 mts out,fuc dat, i got abit jittery as u do.then 1/2 hour latter,i got snoted and was in the water loolin 4 the board and saw a swirl in the water about 3 mts away, i was about 2 do a jc and walk on water when this dopy shag bobed up,damm that got the ticker pumpin,not long after that perrin from kw turned up,i didnt say anythin 2 him,wats was the point,lol sorry P...

Back in my c-quad downwinder days, i dropped the kite about a k out across a 2km wide bay, thing was I dropped it right in the middle of a big school of jumping fish, water depth about 40 feet. coiled kite up and settled in for the big swim, no worries.

but then I kicked something BIG and rubbery, imagine a big tractor tyre, funny thing was I didn't flap as much as I thought I might, just pulled the old leggies up and paddled faster by hand for a while, about another 1/2 hour to shore at least.

Mates reckoned it was probably a dirty old 7 giller, not that hungry, don't think it was a seal coz they would pop up and say hello.
