9am South Brighton Beach

The NE is slowing starting to build.

The swell is around 2ft, just enough for the half dozen odd surfers out there this morning.

Tide is currently high, those that are keen might get an estuary session in a couple of hours if the wind builds fast enough.

With the tide out all afternoon the beach should be on around 2pm.

Kite club is meeting south of the surf club at 3pm - see you there.

Correction - NE is building FAST - in less than 40 min its gone from 5 knots to 15, beach is now fully white-capped, all the surfers have bailed home.

I guess the estuary will be over 15 knots and on now...

And its blue-bird sunny to boot - looks like it going to be a great day!

Good day to get out on it as most of the core crew are out of town this weekend.
