same here man but we had to improvise with a detrucked mountain board.
Good stuff man and you even got better weather at the time. We had a nice snow falling at the time which turned to rain but it was good.

Chch wasnt as good a timaru and i dont own a snow board it was a sad day but i nearly got out osme old water skis and took the fins off. lol

Hello mainlanders! I have scored some free flights in a raffle.RESULT we are heading from Auckland to Mount Hutt for a long weekend and after seeing your post i thought i would bring the kite as well. Can you PLEASE name a couple of places close to Methven that are permitted. Or is it a case of just jumping a fence?
P.S Never rode at Mount Hutt before and dont know what the terrian is like.

We were close to Darfield and kind of sort of jumped a fence, but I think all that snow will be gone by now. Might still be some in the paddocks through Porters Pass maybe...

I am in chch city and we made a huge snow jump in our local park. That was last monday by the way and its still there today!!!! Thats snow thats a week old and the other thing is there is no other snoe in chch city and hasnt been since tuesday!
