I'll be in NZ August 25-30 and plan on doing some snowkiting (I've got a 10M Frenzy and a 13M Psycho 2 ) and backcountry ski touring (have avy gear, would like a partner.) Thinking I'll fly into Christchurch and go to the Wanaka area. Anyone going to be around these dates or who can recommend some good places to go? Are there places to camp in the area, or should I try to book a hotel? Thanks,
