Hi Everyone

In response to your requests and to serve the kiting community and kiteforum sponsors with a more responsive and quicker user experience, there will me a major outage of the kiteforum.co.nz website from 9pm Friday 3rd June until Monday the 6th of June.

This outage is due the website server being moved into the faster and geographically closer location of the MaxNet tier 2 data center on the North Shore in Auckland.

While the DNS servers will take most of the weekend to update, the forum will be also under-going major back end changes.

Once these updates have been made and the DNS update, service will return to super fast!

What does this mean for you?

- faster connection speed to your favorite Kite Sports website - quicker loading times when browsing through content - more features to share your thoughts - new functionality as the forum software is upgraded

Let me know of there is anything else that has been a challenge for you when using the site and I will add it to my list of fixes.

Glad to here that the server is going to be improved. Lets hope that there's lots of blow on offer this weekend to get us all out of the house and away from the forum. will an automatic reload for the page be included in the change? Massive respect to the kiteforum crowd
