Post the tricks you managed to pull of here so that others can get ideas as to what can be done or set a challange for other to attemp.

Heres what i managed in the weekend.

the best one in the bug came accidently as i was sitting in reverse...Going backwards i realised there was only one tire track being left by my front wheel and once i realised this i got the bug back down to two wheels a small reverse wheelie later i was back in reverse on all three...

Anyone else got anything to add....

my usual method of falling out of my buggy involves trying to tack it instead of gybing it.

at a good speed, slide it round into the wind and all the way round,

easier on wet grass or sand, dry grass can be a bit grippy.

takes a decent amount of commitment or you get stuck pointing into the wind and pulled out the back...

for added points fall out with kite doing multiple high speed loops

Getting lofted by the 6.5 homebrew.

Happened twice now, one time resulting in a slightly bent axle. Can't wait until the vortex arrives.

Oh, Craig, you'd be the man to ask...

Which kite do you reckon would be more suited to buggy jumping? A Vortex 14, or V2 13? Sam from PL reckons the turning speed of the vortex gives it an edge, but I'm doubtful...I'm 70 or so kg.

yeah he's prolly right,

the vortex might give u more of a pop but the higher aspect v2 might give you a bit more hang

although the v2 won't much slower to turn if you crank the tip straps up,

i wouldn't crank the middle adjuster up too much if you are using it on a buggy as the windspeed will be less and it might stall a bit

also on a buggy u prolly want it looser for a bit more topend straight line kite speed

the vortex would relaunch easier but thats less of an issue on a buggy and you probably not going to crash it much

i think a vortex is a bit cheaper though

aaaah i'm prattling on again, the toaster calls...

Guys this aint the chat zone...

So to stop myself from just posting a thread i also managed to jump my buggy on the same sunday without the seatbelt being done up.
Was crusing upwind and holding the downtube with one hand flying with the other and the bloody kite swooped over my head and what do ya know in the Bliddy air without a seat belt!!!

O well managed to hold onto the buggy so that i didnt loose it.
