has any mad bastardo tried kite boarding on a longboard??????????

i ask this beacuase i have a wideish concrete walkway that goes for several km that has a prevailing wind running down the guts of it.

it just seems natural to charge down there with a kite.

im picking i need a real small kite as even small daogs can pull me along on the longboard.

Yeah bro!!. Its wicked.
We use our Ozone Imp trainer kites with the longboard on the beach Promenades here in the UK. Its wicked fun, and you dont need loads of power to keep you going. Give it a go bro... Jus watch out for Grannies eh.....

ChrisB...

No helmet, no pads and far too close to overhead lines...

You are either very good or very stupid...??

it aint Chris, its Stefan Cook

he's downwind of the lines, its in some little town way down south, my guess Colac Bay

and yes he would be classed as very good.

probably rat all wind and a very small arc would be my guess so not really that stupid....
harbour boosting, sideways buggying, harwood speed gps'ing, sometime kiteskiing, wave/washing machine kiting, gear breaking, driving about chasing the wind....

I look forward to your jugement. It was a 7m Arc gustty shitty 30 knots or so. Those power lines are upwind but there were some running across the road, that's why The Crab is looking a little freaked. No pads or helmets were hurt in the making of that photo! Although having a helmet probablly would have stoped us getting zapped if we had hit the substation. Oh and we recklessly took the skateboard without asking its owner, I hope he forgives us. Those crazy kids these days, what can you do!!!!!

ae??? the beach is all rocks and stuff so the only way you could kite there is at low low tide. Over the hill is probably better ae, the beaches are longer and sandy so gud when the tides out. Taramea Bay nd Oreti ring any bells?
