Looks like Sunday is the better day on paper, but with the remains of another cyclone off the West Coast it could be a wet one Ill update the forecast as we get closer

As the place i will prob set up will be at the south brighton life saving club but we might just cruise and if we see any other kites/kiters we will prob head towards them just to say hi.

we all need to encourage the land based stuff not so much surfing i love the buggys who agrees with m,e and anyone who doesnt get over it cause i sorta dont care.bahahahahahaha lol

Wind was dam good on Saturday afternoon and Sunday but boy did my legs get a workout today trying to go up the beach in this wind which was shifting to the SE.

Hey paul why didnt you come back?I wanted you take some more pics that afternoon i was cranking some huge jumps and landing them to.I even jumped over that huge pile of seaweed. 8) .

Friday: South-South East 5-10 knots
Saturday: North East - East 5-10 knots
Sunday: All directions 0-5 knots
Monday: South-East 10-15 knots

Saturday and Monday look best for riding, although anything could actually happen.

Day was good. Greatn fun watching other people starting out on the kites and boards and getting the same buzz I did when I started. You never forget your first run...., and then the additction kicks in...!

Southie is getting just too bloody good.... I could'nt go back up wind this afternoon, but he was back at the pier in minutes...!!

Im getting to good and its getting to boring because i have no one to compete except for neil but he aint around much.

Hey spig just to let you know i had a really tough time getting back home and it was so awesome being able to track sooo far upwind.I met a guy down by south brighton and i just cruised on passed.And ive got a new innovation to my moves list and im able to land jumps toeside now but have to figure out a nice easy way to get back to heelside.

Yeah we should have a seesion tomorrow and come down south because the last few days the wind by my place is like 3-5 knots stronger than north brighton. :shock:

I had an awesome session today by the way and tried out my 14m cabrinha CO2 and fucken hell this kite knows how to fly in no wind.It just stayed up there breaking all the laws of physics except when i tried to go down to the pier it started fluttering.Mostly had a play using the awesome relaunch system and safety system and lovin the ease of use.

Friday afternoon was sweet as man! Buggying up in the dunes with an 8m nasa wing right up until dark, nicely powered, awesome fun!

in auck the west coast is only 45min away so wind from the west or east is all good but northly like today is 20min walkin every run! sux :?

orewa was 12-15knots 25kite surfn', 4 blow cart, no buggys and one KGB :twisted: ha me! 8)

the overcast weather kept most ppl off the beach to.


a blow cart pilot i spoke to said he saw a buggy the day before get lifted 3m! and dropped braking all the welds :shock:

also got to ruakaka yesterday 2 hours north of auckland with 16!(?) km of beach, long walk if you can't get the wind angle back as a buggyer found out!
