Hey guys, where can I have a go at KGBing in Auckland?

Any places do hire or lessons?

We do all land based traction sports lessons - not in Auckland but only 1.5hrs drive north.

We currently teach on Peter Lynn and Ozone kites along with Munro boards.

If you would like to meet Su, our instructor, she will be at Bastion Point (above mission bay) TONIGHT doing a womans intro to kiting evening. Guys won't be turned away tho, and she can give you some back ground on the sport.

There are few fliers in the Auckland region. I usually post on the Kite ATB section of the mountainboarder.co.nz forum.

Next time I go fly, you are more then welcome to have a go with my kites and boards.

As for flying areas, Orewa & Bastion Point for easterlies, Muriwai for Westerlies and anywhere you can find an un-occupied open field
I flew on Sunday afternoon at Takapuna Grammar. Great fun!

We have 5 or 6 guys Kite land boarding around Orewa Beach now.
And Anabatic has all the gear. We are happy to share the toys around on the beach as are most riders. Just ask.
