Anyone got a source and a price for Stainless Steel hub bearings, (12x28mm), here in New Zealand..?

Running my landboard on the beach means I am prone to siezed & rusted bearings, so stainless bearing might last a bit longer...

Hey spig i have the exact same problem.My dad got me my bearings but i dont know where from but ill ask him.The best bearings to buy are double sealed stainless steal bearings and after every sesh just spray with some marine 66 on them.its been 7 months now and no problems.

The bearings that came standard with my board were crap bearings and seized after only 3 months about.

I can get a set of 8 stainless steel bearings for around $60, but I wnted to see if anyone knew where I could get them locally for less...?

thats Cheap !! But i warn you not all SS bearings are full SS

The cage inside the brg is often still steel

I have had my ss bearings for about 1 year now with 3 weekly use and also riding through 3" of salt water. All i do is hose it gently after each session and they are still perfect and free spinning.
