I will be returning to NZ in feb next year for 6 month holiday (sounds good dont it ) I dont know if i will bring my board with me due to weight restrictions and was wondering on board recomendations and prices for 110kg fat boy kiter. We are flying into auckland and will be based down whakatane way (mmmmh ohope beach...) for the first few weeks before we sort a bus out, then head down the east coast to the SI. Are there any shops in the bay of plenty area?

Boards are quite expensive in NZ and the dealers that stock them are few & far between. [See the shop thread sticky in this forum]

Define a Good Board? It really depends what sort of board you are after What board do you currently use..?

What boards are DK selling?

My Dirt Theory boards are ment to arrive in the country today.. apparently. I Probably wont see them until monday.. you all know how customs are. I was told i'd have them by this friday, but we'll see.

Our first shipment of Munro Raven boards arrived in today.

These boards feature a custom maple & glass deck, quality wheels & hubs, brushed steel sprung trucks, three position adjustable steering, leash & tool kit.

All for $599 complete

I have one in the demo quiver, anyone in the north that is keen for a test ride drop us a line.

Also hope to get time after xmas to work on the moulds for the new Decay composite ATB decks - stay tuned...

Stop teasing me with your new board design idea...., an get on and make one up...

The landboarding world is abound with new designs right now, with the new super lightweight Kitedeck NXS, (<5kgs) being available from January, and the DEX-Genesis slated to hit the stores next spring. There are even rumours about a new light weight honeycomb & laminate Trampa deck currently in the testing phase. So if you want to steal a march on the oposition mate, now is the time....

It would be way cool to have a cutting edge deck being made in NZ, even if only to save the $150 postage... :wink:

the honey comb trampa that was made snapped quick, they've moved onto something else now, apparently they are light as hell and there are already a few of the trampa 35 shorts made this new way.

team riders only by the sounds of it, and dont tell him that you got that info for me.. even though i didn't tell you what they were made of.

i was told by the people in the sky that the nxs is more for short runs and tricks gets a little off the rails at high speed but i would have loved to have that new shape but a little longer in length 8)

the nxs is not just for the pro's it is available soon i was offered one next month ' but i guess i am a PRO
