Hey anyone tried night flying before?
I tried and it was so fun and different just make sure to wear a headlamp theres debris all over the beach eg.sticks(neck breakers as i found out)
I had a little portable radio nd it had a light on it so strapped it onto my kite and worked fine until it came loose and was dangling all over the place but it was a full moon so i could see really well anyways.

If you spend any time looking at www.Ebay.com for kites then you will have seen all the advertsing for 'kitelights', (just do a search on 'flexifoil'). I guess the idea is to place these tiny lightweight LED type lights to parts of your canopy and bridle and then use it after dark.

Never really gave them much thought, but hey if it gives you more flying time then maybe...?

Now that winter is coming up and we get the most perfect low winds for just landboard cruising so im definatly goin to invest in a proper kite light.

So Kiter if you think you see a shooting star up in da sky dont get ya hopes up it will just be me ripping it up out there.
