im looking to order some sysmic rims like i have on the front of my big foot buggy

lots of sizes available

the idea is if you want some to combine the freight costs with at least me and pete to save lots of money we have one shot to do so

so far 8 of 4x8 rims on the order.

once we know the total order we will get a quote , publish it and get agreement and payment before order. my best guess for a 4x8 is $100 nzd per rim in our hands inc gst maybe slightly less.

+ 2 of the 8" x 8" rims for me , will look cool on the bike or buggy rear

oooooh so tempting, i love these hubs.....any ides on costs for a set of 8x8 yet?

any landboard sized ones? these are the fruit.

the 8x8's id estimate at 130 each in NZD landed, no land board wheels but MBS have those cool metal ones.

i might be in too, just what to get??

Hmmm, OK, I just got a email back from SYSMIC Design, the 8 x 8 are out of stock, next run will be ready in March or April,
that means April / May.

So we will do the order now / Sunday avro
and maybe a second order in April / May, if anyone is wanting 8 x 8 then,
maybe the ( -21" Aluminum Rim in order to reach a 26" diameter narrow wheel )
will be available soon.

what size tires where you going to put on the 4x8's?

That is the beauty of the 4 x 8"s they are lighter then a asso and it will look good with middys, big foot duro's and kenda beach racer . You can even put barrow tyres on them but that look's a little odd .

I have a kenda on a sysmic 4" its good even compared to kenda on 7" assos.

thats why after my trial of the 4" sysmic mag over the last months im going for 4" rims all round. I admit the 8 " look the coolest but im going for performance over ubercool.

4" are lighter , have damn near the same dune contact patch and stop and go faster. esp important for the dune buggy. I ran a 4" front kenda last moose and dint notice any diff to my usual asso front rim (duro) .

I actually like the performance of a KendaBR on a narrower rim. The contact patch is relatively the same but due to the extra crown it has a little more bite and less tendancy to aquaplane. This makes the tyre a little more like a Eurotrac or whatever it's called.

thanks, sounds like 4" are the go i was think thinking 8" would a bit wide. maybe they should making a 6' too.

hey guys where do you get the kenda's from ???

asia via USA . All 20 tyres are gone currently your best bet is with the sysmic order NZFD over 150 each at the moment through my channel and 10 at a time... sold 5 sets and a 5 wheeler set

order has been placed / closed 8" not an option anyhow as it turns out (till may-ish ). Bris kites have 8" in AUS if your really keen
