There are some very cool buggy clubs.
I am the founder and 4 time member of the large "moose nukers" club.
I know 3 guys in the exclusive "100kph+" club.
There are 2 in the "I've been to every moose" and another 2 in the 24hr solo club

On boxing day I reluctantly joined the "I got beaten by that damned boarder Club".
7.30am 26/12/10 Plummet and I are at Ngamotu beach playing tennis ball tag and doing fast runs. After filming Plummet jumping over me I suggest some pursuit racing. I don't normally race and I am not a fast rider so its probably a bad idea.

we line up for the first race. I get a bad start but manage to pull myself back into it. Plummet cocks up a couple of times and the race is mine.
2nd race. Better start comfortably lapping with no errors and go on for a good win.

Plummet goes from 10 - 15m. I should up-size but I don't. He crushes me 3 races in a row. Damn I joined the club. There are some great riders in the club but I didn't want to be a member.
In the end the day was a draw. 2 races and the tag to me and 3 races to him. Not so bad but I can beat him 100 races in a row and he will always be the boarder who beat me 3 races straight.

Those races where close and a fair battle. It could have gone either way! i wouldn't say it was a crushing. I had to upsize to my monster kite to get the upwind ability to pass the buggy! damn there up wind ability.

Got to get Perrin, Al, Wayne and Craig in the "beaten by plummet" club. Their day will come! one day those magic hands will make a mistake and i'll be there reading and waiting to pounce.

I think i'm in a similar club the "first to nuke moose on a landboard" club.

Ps You have to watch that Charlie when your playing tennis ball tag! that calm dimenour switches like jeckle and hyde into a fearsome competitor. be sure to protect your groin!

ha ha! sitting down makes for a harder target and a easy hight for hitting someone
boarding.
