Forecast is looking pretty sad. 5-8 knots easterly... is the sea brease kicking in and pushing wind higher than that?

whats the best location. i consider land or water but i double there'l be enough for water.

I'm gagging at the mouth and frothing on the bit. There's been no wind all week, not a breath. Sunday and Monday are looking good. Karioitahi always has the most wind on the west. Having said that, Sunday afternoon is looking perfect for Muriwai, I might go to South Head and camp over to catch a two day light wind water session

I've had 2 sessions this week. light wind 15m manta session where i jumped a stream and did my first land back rolls and a 25knot session down the coast at tai road. man thats a hard core spot. heavy waves and only thin slither of beach to launch on. if you stuff up in the waves downwind is rocks and cliff. the waves are big man eating themir braking kite tearing waves.

how long is the drive to Foxton?

the wind down there is soo much better than up here - i might have to take your advice and fill up the car

its not uncommon for the wind to be 5-10 knots more than forecast in foxton!!! expect sunday to be insane!!....

at a geuss it would be a 7 hour drive. i have never had the need to drive auckland/foxton.

well foxton was good for land kiting but was a bit light for the water.
