It'l stand until next year!! There's more distance to be had with better conditions. 30-40 knots was just brutal! we had to go slower than if it was a cleaner 20-30 knots.

Cracking 400km is possible.

Of course I expect half a dozen particapants in next years 24hr.

Jimmy look on the positive side to doing a 24hr. you don't have to worry about sleeping in a car... as you don't sleep!

Hmm, to kitesurf or to landboard? That is the question for a kite addicted junkie.

The 8 wheeler dune board is back on the drawing board! i've procured some hubs. just need to get another set of grannies and get a wide axle machined!!! then I may have a completly capable dune board..... ooh the extra km i could do!!.

Another idea sifting through my brain is location! Foxton is a viable alternative! theres a wet land in the estury that stays semi hard 24-7 the beach is equally hard and long plus you can park the car right in the foxton carpark right on the beach and go and get fish and chips for tea if you really want. Rescue and hospitals are closer!

Wind is more lickley to be cross on tho.

plummet i might be a little bit skared if you get an 8 wheeler going, what a truck that would be!! im going to need a bigger bit of driftwood
