I just got the official nod from Perrin.

The final 2 races of the Western Circuit champs will be held at 2pm on Saturday Oct 23 at the Moose meet. This is for buggies and boards.

There will be flags on the hard sand probably a bit north of the camp. We will be looking for a nice big wide stretch of beach with a good angle. All racers must report to the flags at 2 pm and be ready to race. Mooseland is too big to go looking for people if they are not around when a comp starts.

We will not wait for people to go back to camp for spares. Bring all the kites, tyres, tools, refreshments and bits you may need.


The schedule will be

2pm Fliers meeting.

Short course sprint race. If there are more than 15 entries we will probably have 2 heats and a final.

Short break for setup and kite changes

Long all in multi leg course race.

Grudge matches, Newbies, Handicap races as required.


Charlie and Johnie T are the marshals.

Points 1st 10, 2nd 6, 3rd 4, 4th 3, 5th 2, 6th 1.

If anyone feels their race was compromised by another racer they are welcome to challenge that person to a grudge match. If any newbies want to race each other without getting in the fast guys way let us know and we will get you a race at the end. Handicap races between inexperienced riders and experienced racers are possible if someone wants a go against a legend. Just challenge them. We will work out a handicap.

This years champs has been 2 rounds with a non points round in January. Will someone please step up and get us at least one more round next year. Wellington to Te Paki. West coast beach. There must be someone willing.

yeah i'm willing to organise a race in the naki sometime next year. got my overseas trip and 90 mile out the way so i'll be free to organise... but would also like to race. so i'll need a note book holder!

I will be putting on a race event here at Foxton Beach over the Summer. Will hopefully include Kitesurf race, buggy race and landboard race. And also either a kite Triathlon, or Biathlon depending on whos keen for what.
You buggy lot may want to include it in your circuit ?
