Hi, I want to get back into kiting, I use to kite surf about 5?years ago with a Guerrilla and a X2. But sold them a long time ago so am looking at buying a kite or 2. I want to do bugging first and than maybe land boarding. What kites do you recommend? I was thinking about getting kites with out much lift to start with, than if I want to get into jumping I'll worry about that later. Any help would be great.

well the buggy guys tend to like low lift fixed bridle kites. 3.5 to 4m to start with. landboarders tend to want depower kites with abit of lift to hold themselves up when leaning back against the power on the kite. 9- 10m size.

Good brands ot look for

ozone
flexifoil.

personally i'm an ozone man.

I have a Flexifoil Rage 3.5m that would be great for getting started in a bug in the for sale section, make me an offer ... anyone want to back me up on this???

Seriously though, its a mean kite but I just ordered a De-Power and I want to trade this and get a smaller fixed bridal so my girlfriend can come out with me cause the 3.5 is a bit grunty for her :/

... I already love this kite and would be too worried if it didn't sell.

Both the rage and the hornets are a good starting place for the buggy and possible the landboard, but you did mention you wanted to get back into the water, so i would advise either a de-power foil or a lei just because all the water kites have depower and the flying is a little different than from the fixed bridle kites like the Rage and Hornets. As for buggying you can use a kite really especally on sand and in the right wind conditions even a shopping bag would do

So what shopping bag do you recommend...... Pak n Save. Cheaper than a kite at 10c

There's a new line for Ozone!
