Are there any good place to crack out a buggy/landboard in or around New Plymouth? Any ideas?

Do you live here?

Cheers for the suggestions! The reason I ask is I'm applying for a job I have a good chance of getting in the region and just need to tick all be boxes before I decide to move town

I'm in New Plymouth.

and yes landkiting is available in np. the beaches are abit wet and soft compared to the likes of waikane but still doable.

to get the most out of the kiting i'd suggest a spread of land and water. Its the land of waves here in the naki and east end (fitzroy) is a the best spot i've seen for kitesurfing waves it truely is epic.

when the tides in and its cross shore/cross on its time for waves and when the tides out and its more on shore its time to roost on the lanboard or buggy.
