I have bought a 2.5m ozone imp - with my son in mind (27kg and 9 years of age).

He seems quite adapt at flying this kite - (told him specifically never to do kite loops - so he does it at every opportunity...) that I am considering a mountain board.

From what I can see - options would include mbs x80 or the lil bomber (I can get from US for $99 to $129 + post + exchange rates)

Before parting with dosh - what prices can I get a board for in New Zealand?

My wife - who has detested kitesurfing with a vengance mentioned that she would like a go with the Imp; and would consider getting on a land board.

Is there a board that could meet the gap between a 27kg 9 year old and a 49kg person. I know that I there could be no accomodation for me sharing the board as - I clock in at 80kg.

Does anyone wish to sell their board?

Yeah Butches baords are the fruit if you can afford them. otherwise your best bet is to troll trademe for second hand shitters that come up on occasions.
you could also try forum.mountainboarder.co.nz/index.php.

My geuss is you want the smallest/lightest/loosest board you can find. skate trucks i'd geuss.

yes you could use it but it would be as twitchy as hell. but not impossible.

But sounds like you need 2 boards anyway. one for the boy and one for you/missis so you can shred along side the boy when he's up and running.
