If anyone else turned up to the Eltham kite day and found an empty field I apologise. I got the date from the NZKA magazine and the date was wrong. Not really my fault but it pissed me off to turn up and find nothing happening. If you did the same I am sorry I did not double check.

This is the second non event we have traveled to lately. We should not have to confirm an advertised date but I guess I will be doing so in the future.

ouch.... i checked the interweb sunday morning and found various sites stating the 28th..... so i didn't go.
