i think missing the moose should not be conciderd in any way....thoes people who are concidering missing a moose for a second time should also concider giving all their kites away and moving perminently into a dark box and never coming out on their own free will.
minimooses will only be held in hounour of the paticularly unfortunate or the dead.

I feel like he's talking to me...

N-Al, you missing the quiver of an N-gen in your fingers mate? I had to work all weekend. Didn't get enough time with my family... never mind any time to play.

moosemeet or the weekend you spent working?

priorities, priorities. There's a time to work and a time to play. working on weekends should be reserved for other weekends that don't have kiting events on it.....

inform your customers now that theres 2 "shows" that you will be working on the moose weekend. No and shit.

Al, not wanting to make you jelious but 4 sessions in the last week!!!! :}

Wednesday Foxton wednsday night kite night. conrad, mike (from raglan) and Butch. plus some randoms. howling 30+ knots dropping off to 15. 4 hour session.

Thursday Waikania to Te horo and back, nigel not mates but sweet 13 knots cross on cross. 18m jumps over big puddles. 3 hours or so

Friday Foxton to himatangi and back with Butch and mike. (well mike called it a day when it started to rain.

Sunday kite surf session and fitzroy beach... not windy enough but i did some downwinder action and walk of shame back up.

oh yeah kiting has been good to me this year. goto get as much in as possible before the wrist operation puts me out for 3 months.

Dude, I spent all weekend in a box. OK it's not a small dark one but the office is not a nice place to be all weekend. Second weekend in a row too. At least what I'm doing now is helping towards preventing any future major outages that could cause me to randomly give up my weekends.

You owe Gannet I believe... he's already paid for the ones you now have. We'll work something out. The new TIG welder is so much fun. Saves on argon too... used much less than on the old welder and the ranges is phenominal.

Gosh my last sesh with Jimmy22 is over three weeks ago already!

Just a little Global 160amp DC inverter that Chevpac had on sale last year. Nothing very fancy. Probably same as all the other chinese welders but with a brand and from an outlet with a warranty I can trust. I loose the AC capability I had with the old transformer machine but I get greater range and control on the DC inverter.

The only thing to consider with TIG or MIG is the cost of gas and bottle rental. My bottle cost more than the welder but I only pay to fill it and lasts me almost a year between fills unless I'm busy.

the beaches certainly aren't world class like others but i've come to enjoy the challenge of dodging rocks and drift wood. it worth a trip and the naki is pretty cool place itself.
