whoot. Had my first session on the latest kite. 11m 09 ozone edge sle.

i turn up at the beach abit nervous. ooh whats this beast gona be like.

anyway i pump and set it up. man it takes a long time.... i'm sure i'll get faster at it.

A freindly kite surfer helped me launch and off i went with trembling hands.... wind was 15 knots maybe less.

OOOOH yeah what a sweet kite. It flys much like my manta in truth but everything is more. More speed, more power, more depower, more float.... Yeha. I think this will be my light wind kite of choice for the land aswell.

i few minutes after launching i was into my first jumps. not even sending the kite back just take it to the zenith jump up and pull the bar in and watch yourself float above the earth.

ahhhh.... sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

it is definatly cool.

there are disadvantages too. worse in the gusts, longer set up,pack up more difficult to launch and land. The full depower is abit of a pain too. its a has huge advantage but i kinda like having the bar out and pelting along....

I usually have limited time at the beach so the the foils will still be winning in those instances.

but the grin factor is huge. 12knots cross on forecast for tonight i fell another session will be in order.

You'll discover the joys of the full throw on the bar when you pelt down the line of waves throwing cutbacks and bottom turns like a pro.
