WIND WARRIOR KITESPORTS are proud to announce we are open for business at Foxton Beach NZ as of our Spring Launch Day on the 19th September at Foxton Beach.
Come along and support our new venture and show the public of the Manawatu & Horowhenua what it is that we do.
Flatwater Estuary, massive hardpacked beach and epic sand dunes for all to ride and enjoy!
Morning kitesurf on the estuary at hightide, then afternoon landkite session on the beach between the carpark and the estuary. All followed by a BBQ and beers afterwards at Wind Warriors HQ just behind the dunes.

Ozone kites to Demo and awesome terrain to be ridden.
Bring your kids and your mates and come and lend us your support.
Accommodation can be arranged in advance at the Foxton Motel if need be. Let me know if you need some.

Hope to see some of you there!

Pray for the wind!

Yep its not looking ideal but hey, itll still be a great day on the beach.
Bring yer surf boards instead...
Am hoping for a little local support here in Foxton but its hard to tell.
have had a stand at the Horowhenua Tourism expo in the Levin mall all week, but its like a retirement village in there so maybe not so much support coming from that....
Still its good to give the oldies a bit of a thrill every so often..

See ya there........................or not.

ahhhh. 6hours driving for no wind or very little wind..... i want to support your start up but just too far to go for crap forecast. i only get so many man days away from the family per year so i have to make them count,..... sorry bro i feel like i'm letting you down.

With spring ariving it shouldn't be too long until the howling westerlies kick in. i'm hoping for we'll have some epic sessions in the coming months.

perhaps style some type of event in november. the wind is pretty stonking by then.

I stretched the Open day across the whole weekend as Sat afternoon wind was pants.
Sat Morn was 18-20 knots so a kitesurf on the estuary was the order of the day.
Myself, and my new German friends who came down from Wellies, Nick and his lovely wife and their daughter Sasha had a great time until the wind dropped round 1pm.
The afternoon on the beach was a bit of a non event with no wind. Dixie got the best wind of the day after i thought he'd gone home and then spotted his kite over the dunes jus before sunset, eeking out the last breath of wind of the day, followed by a wee barbe with the 2 of us and one of my neighbours.
Sun morning was cranking again 18-20 knots so i Kitesurfed alone in the estuary and kept the fishermen amused for a while. Then home for a munch and out on to the beach for a sweet afternoon of 15-18 knots offshore.
Spring tides so plenty of room for the wind to clean up from over the dunes and a few local punters checking out the trainer kites and having a laugh.
Got a wee bit of interest and had a good time so the weekend was all good.

Thanks to those of you who came along and i hope to have a few lil events when the wind is a bit more consistent over the summer.

Hey Butch
Thanks for the day, as usual I missed the good wind, but is was good to see a few people out there giving it a go and having some fun. Nice set up you have there and I wish you luck with the venture.
No doubt I will be seeing more of you soon as the summer is coming and I will be back on the water more.
Cheers
Dixie
