SKIS? You mean like waterskis instead of the board...

If so already tried it and it can be a bit more hassle than a kiteboard. Trust me I have tried a couple of times now! Just want to give it a go with a trick-ski when overpowered next!

I see a little bit of pink...

Gannet: If you're not using any of the bindings I'd love a set or two for a future experiment please!

Sweet... now I just need some pie tins, bamboo, a tarpoline, some twine, 1g of radium and a mad badger! Yes, it has been one of those days... thank goodness tomorrow is Friday!

Hey... who's the poor fella making all the fittings for all these axles?

PS. To the other poor fella who tried kiting with a waterski... well "I know someone" who bought a Skurfer thinking that'd be just mint and it was an interesting experience too. I... erm someone still has that skurfer and should try it again some day when it's blowing 30 knots.

I do it often... in less than that too. It's called 'Jesus walking'... as in walkin on water. I actually blasted past someone on my butt when I wiped out doing some speed runs on Monday... don't know what that's called though. I did clock 79kph before the batteries went out on my GPS.

N-Al: Dude... e-mail me and I will put you in contact with some people who can set you up with a legal owner bottle and refills. It will cost you a bit up front but you'll save heaps down the line. Ezitools on Trademe is just around the corner from me too.

Steel... well there are lots of places. Jimmy22 has a mate here who has some offcuts. Sandvik on Ti'rangi drive is another. I ave a regular on Nelson street Onehunga. Just let your fingers do the walking and hunt around mate.
