I'm looking at steping up to a proper kite for KGB,I've got basic kite control sorted and eaven managed to get a few little runs on my board which has lead me on the quest for more power!
I've done my time on mtnboards but I'm not sure what sorta size kite would be the go.I'm looking more at a freeride style than freestlye

if you want a one kite do it all quiver than 10m depower foil is what you want. my manta gets me going in 6-7 knots and i pull the pin around 25 knots.

you can play with fixed bridles but really at the end you will find yourself buying a depower kite for landboarding.

I agree, but fixed bridles are much more fun, unless your under a 12m Speed that is...lol

Too right Dixie... I've had many good times with fixed bridals.. specially those blades. They have set me in my place more than a dozen times..

But at the end of the day a depower kite does a much better job of keeping the rider safe and i think they also end up with a much larger wind range for riding. So at the end of the day they are a better option for mountain boards. buggys i think are still better with a fixed bridal

Well at least you get to learn via punishment but dont get us wrong either you can still hurt yourself with a depower kite. They are alot safer tho. I did send you a PM regarding that sabre and its still here if you evver want to take the offer up just let me know.

If it was safe it wouldn't be any fun I was hopping to get the saber but I squandered my pocket money on an unexpected trip to the dentist

i tend to go for the

"seek forgiveness" rather than "ask permission and be denied".
