Hi, I'm Martin.
I just got here from the UK and currently live in Nelson, but will be moving down to CHCH in the coming months (hopefully by mid Feb) and will be mostly landboarding with a bit of time in the water.

Currently I'm looking to buy a new kite and board, the board I'm settled on just sniffing around for prices in NZ, but the kite I might want some opinions on (PL synergy or Flexi Ion3, I'm leaning synergy right now cause it's cheaper and when i did fly one it was great) as I've not really flown either properly.
So all thoughts welcome there.

Hi Martin welcome to NZ best country in the world IMO

i'm ex-pat to from Aberdeen when you get to chch come and look us up at North New Brighton surf club any day there is an easterly at low tide there will be somebody on the beach I buggy myself but there is heaps of guys on landboards. When i'm there i put up a PL windsock or my skypirate banner so come down and say hi when you get here.

I Think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and pay some dough for my gear though. Still saving on what it'd cost me in the uk though!

Come down to chch as soon as you can.... Lots of us down here keen to have someone else to add to the local crew and another landboarder is all good.... there are getting to be quite a few people on boards now.
