so....
im making the sway to snow(board)kiting. just wondering if theres much of a kiwi snow kiting crew?

-who / where / how long?
-wheres best to ride
-best kites for snow
-events/meetings

im sure theres more of you in the south, were a bit limited for snow in the north....

i'm not snow kiting yet.......
my understanding is theres limited options here in north island.
tho i do have a mountain 50km away! its way to steep for me to do any snow kiting on. average angle is like 45 degreese. doh!

Wanaka, Snowfarm, Pisa Range, in a north east to north west wind. Easy access to high altitude (cold and snowy) rolling terrain. The Snowfarm people are increasingly aware of our needs - just give them the courtesy of checking in to see where you can park and kite, and a financial contribution (~$27 day to cover road access). There are a few local snow kiters, and a crew from Christchurch make the trip once a year (August - September) for 'Wanakite'. Watch this web site.
