Hey mate, Where abouts you based?

The Frenzy is a very nice kite. what model are you looking at? the 07 or an 06? it will be a very nice kite and you will get to know it fast. I have a 7.5m Frenzy and i love it....just like my blades more. What do you intend to do with it? are you buggying or landboarding or even snowkiting?

At the moment I,m in Suva Fiji, but home is Palmy North, even though I,m a pom.
Want to use a depower foil for everything except buggying, but mostly landboarding and on the water. I know they are not water relaunchable, but that does not bother me as I kitesurf with Blades aswell.
I love my Blades, but want to try a depower foil to handle the gusts a little better and the Frenzy seems like a good starting point, Flysurfers are just too expensive. I,ve got my eye on an 06 model 14 or 12.
what do you reckon?

Hey, Charley , I think i meet you a couple of years back at my local, Avondale Racecourse , you were landboarding with a Blade , and you let me have a go of the Blade, ( really nice kite) i was waiting on my new Bullet to arrive.

Tell me what do you do if you drop the Blade when Kitesurfing , do you perform a quick reverse launch before the cells fill up with water , or you just don't drop it. Is it easier with handles on the water , i might give it a go with my Bullet in shallow water . I can Windsurf , but have never tryed Kitesurfing .

Cheers 8)
May the WIND be with YOU

Hi Mcdee
Sorry it was not me you saw at Avondale.
To answer your other questions, if your extemely quick, and lucky, you may get a Blade up out of the water provided it has not got too wet and the wind is strong. Do not even think about kite surfing with a blade if the wind is light or knarley!!
8 times out of 10 your in for a swim, in the shallows its not too much of a problem, but in deeper water be very careful, they sink and if there is a current or tide running they go with it. swim toward the kite wrapping your lines as you go, ball up the kite and sort it out on shore.
I pick my days with care to surf on a Blade, steady wind 15 knots+, Seat harness and a strop between handles.
I,ve tried all the other options with bars and x over kits, but I still prefer the handles I feel I have more control over it.
I,ve been flying Blades since 1999 so I dont ditch them too often these days. If its your 1st time out on the water I highly recommend you get a water relaunchable kite, Blades are not really for learning with as I found out myself, once really confident then they are great, but you get some strange looks from other kiters.
Hope this helps.
