I am looking to get into kite surfing and looking for a trainer kite to just have some fun with on the ground.

Learn to use a kite properly before I can fly right?

Hi, I recommend a Vibe Peter Lynn 1.9m - have had it for 5 years - given it heaps and it still flies awesomely - from 5 to 35+ kts and they cost a little over $100. Came with a bar too for practising. They're great.
