Yeah man those night sessions kick ass... in the rain was an added bonus. I think we did everything tonite that you are not meant to do. Kite in squalls, prance around on the beach, beach jumping included of course. Oh yes and beach jumping in the squalls. Can't call them squalls really though as compared to the big mummas from the SW they are pretty lame but windspeed still increased by 10 knots.

Everyone was wondering where you were philth. We were hoping to see you beach jump with your rhinosaur in those squalls.

Beforehand i scored vintage bramley peaking at over 30 knots. Well powered on my 7m, flat water high tide. kickass.

Was down there when the wind was cranking at midday. Epic conditions in the 1/4 tide. Now it's gone pearshaped.

UPDATE AT 8PM: From the looks of the eastside windmeters it's still very uninspiring wind. i didn't head out... infact did anyone head out nitekiitng at EB? If so was there any wind?

9PM UPDATE: Tamaki windmeter looks pretty kickass now. Peaks of over 15 knots which means ok wind. but whatta bout EB?

Man either EB is seriously sucking ass compared to Bramley or that windmeter is really sheltered.. i've just checked out the EB meter. Earlier on today it was peaking at over 20.. now it's only getting to 10. Sheltered meter or was it really that shite? As for me... watching Eastside 2004 and drinking special thrasher vintage hot chocolate (90% chocolate powder, 10% whole milk).. and of course talkin up the shit on the forum :twisted:

hey, me,grant and jarod have just had an awesome session down at EB in the dark. was a mere 5 knots, but wen checked the orewa webcam which read 20 knots so we knew it was coming, so we got the lights setup, and 30 mins later, a nice 15+ knots had arrived, nicely powered and wer goin upwind nicely, got a good 2 hours+ session in

Mint and crap. Mint that it was good... but crap that i missed it. Anyway i'm heading down to EB REAL soon to get me some mid tide action. high tide is at 6pm so it's now or never. I have the 7m all ready to do battle in 30 knots. c ya at the beach.

Where was everyone at EB this eveing, was down there from 4:30-5pm and there was only some poley's out....

I wanted to see a 7m waroo thrasher unhooked looping handle pass....

i'd gapped it by then. I was down there between 2 and 4 to get the magnificant mid tide. Scored 30 knots fully lit on the 7m waroo and lunchtray board.

i had a fricken exam on so i missed the good tide, u headin down tomoro?, shud be good in the morning befor it goes westerly

does anybody know what the prices are for new 14m waroo's?, does anybody have one or no anybody who would sell me one??

Working in morning till midday. It's pretty stormy out there at da mo. Will head to flat island or php in the arvo if others are keen.
