TOPIC: Warning Pt Chev Kiters!

Warning Pt Chev Kiters! 8 years, 6 months ago #844

  • jaffa kaffa
Last Friday afternoon (approx 3-5pm) I went to Walker Rd Pt Chev for a sly after work sesh.

It was fairly busy with about 5 kites, some new kite-students and other random spectators hanging around.

When I got out the water I was pissed to find my driver door lock had been forced. Some thieving waste-of-sperm had gone through my jeans, grabbed my wallet, my diary (worthless but full of work contacts/details) and my work digital camera. Luckily they missed my cell-phone, and couldn't be bothered helping themselves to my kite.

The police reckon this is a bad spot, (another car was hit too on the same day).

My advice- Hide your small valuables in your car, it won't stop them breaking in, but they won't have the time/balls to spend minutes in your car looking for stuff. And hopefully they'll leave your big expensive items (ie- board, kite) cos they're too obvious to walk up the street with.

Good luck to us all, and if anyone catches a suspicious little bastard hanging around our parked vehicles, give them a pounding, then an extra one from me...

Just do what we do at Shoal Bay.

Hog tie them tummy and face down below the high tide mark.

Gets them every time.
