After waking up and not seeing a ripple on Lake Papuke..
I thought it was time to get the thundercat out and head to Muriwai.

Richard, Shane and myself had some insane moments.

Click on the following link to see some of the pictures we caught during the day..

Shane had the biggest wave of the day, however it was not caught on camera.. I think we were all gob smacked..

Muriwai sure knows how to keep you on your feet.. !

So madness did you swap the thundercat for a kite when the wind arrived?
eastern beach hates my guts because i did a big crap in my wetsuit whilst out there kiting 6 years ago. That's why i'm the most unpopular kiter in NZ. Beast from da east reprazent mutha f#$$%@ers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Strange as it sounds but there was no wind all day down at Muriwai..
Guys were waiting down at the beach for the wind but nothing came through.

We were having to much fun in the waves to worry about the wind..
