Well what do ya know!? In the first week of January I experienced epic 6-8ft large wave riding conditions in the Naki, now precisely 2 months later there is a very similar looking weather scenario approaching, big swells again, with strong westerlies in tow....

As I was winding him up about missing it last time round Hippy told me disdainfully that, "If I didn't have images it was probably two inches in the bathtub"...

So my challenge to you mister Hipster is to come down and take the images 'cos I will be too busy riding to even attempt such a difficult and time wasting task.

The swell looks like it's going to peak around Thursday night but I'm sure there will be some left if you can't make it till Saturday....

I'll be there, just look for a sleep deprived bloodshot-eyed unshaven hairy dude with a silly grin.

Yet again the sky walker has shown our path to riteousness.... Unfortunately both Shaan the soul wiper and Myself have been completely misled by various heavenly creatures. I am actually at the point of cursing this weather system which makes point scoring-delusional kite lessions an impossibility... Alas I believe all my efforts will be in vain anyway as the silvery one has scented his territory and no doubt will defend it to the death. So here I am - Alone on this godforsaken forum at 10pm on a Saturday nite with little chance of realising my potential wave quota as Many weather boards lie, outside my multi-story extension, waiting to be measured, sawn and nailed.... ce la vie
Hippies are always talking about saving the world but all they do is smoke pot and go kiteboarding.
