I'm considering visiting New Zealand. With so much kiteable coastline and limited info, it's difficult to narrow it down. I'm looking for a location with good wave riding and reliable winds. I don't want to be in frigid waters and be able to survive with a spring suit at most. From scouring the internet, raglan might be a possibility. I did look under the locations but it doesn't give much information about seasons.

I would either be traveling between May-July or December-January. Are there good conditions to be had during either of these periods? I'm open to visiting anywhere in new zealand with the right wind and wave combo.

If you are used to Mokes then the Naki will be very interesting. Plenty of wind and waves in winter but in a spring suit - summer
