I took a few pictures of Jamie down at Takapuna on Wed night..
It was hard to take the pics as it was pissing down at times.
Click on the following link to go through to the pics. The page is a flash doc, so you may need to wait for it to download.

Some of you may have seen it on the news.. !! Well done to Gavin for making it onto the news AGAIN..

Good to see you Auckwakkas got some waves for a change.....

Maybe I should've come up for a look-see but there was just so much rain and it looked like it was gonna be dead onshore...

Guess you just had to be there.

But I've gotta say - those waves are lookin' kinda weak compared to the Gruntier & more consistant west coast.

If you's fulla's want to regularly ride waves - head down south & out west

i've got to agree with the spacerider there. we are at best, clutching at straws to even talk about auckland's waves which are to any rational being knee high to a donkey's dick, as crumbly as a mouldy biscuit and as formless as warm sick, with lips thinner than a sheet of A4.

hell of a good scoring them when they're there all the same but already the memory is faded by a steady serving of onshore bilge.

go west young man, you'll find your fortune there!

Pretty feeble seabreeze today 'cos of the easterly....

Had a dodgey offshore sesh yesterday - a bit grovelly, but it was kinda cool once you found a wave wrapping round a sandbar so it was cross-off.

A couple of characters looked like they were going to be doing big swims at one stage... Going way out the back of the bar in the light-shifty offshores.... 2 luckily made it back into the beach for the big walk of shame home, the other dude may have a story to tell 'cos I didn't see him again... probly had a swim with the Big-Fishes.

Hey KFC-Legs, don't get me wrong I would've loved to have scored that stormy Auckland sesh with ya's
