Greetings

I am planning to take on kite surfing and I have no clue with regards to which kite to choose as a beginner.
We have been to Anabatic in Orewa and the kite he recommended was the PL Venom 16m. It seems like a good deal since training is included.
Is this a suitable kite for a newbie both with regards to shape and size.

I have been down to St Heliers a couple of times and I havent seen a single Venom kite.

Appreciate your feedback.

Cheers

yes an excellent kite to learn on and Lee does know how to fly them so will be able to teach you how to use it properly

I have the 16 and its my favourite kite, I have a 13 as well and several other PL's

You will have to look quite hard to find someone on a venom, we are an exclusive little bunch of enlightened individuals
harbour boosting, sideways buggying, harwood speed gps'ing, sometime kiteskiing, wave/washing machine kiting, gear breaking, driving about chasing the wind....

Jan, remind me next time your in Orewa to give you Leons number.
he has just shifted into your area from here and always rides Peterlynn kites.
The crazy fire dancing Dr Stu also lives in New Market and has in the odd occasion kited the ditch instead of Orewa. He rides with Peterlynn kites.

Cheers Lee
