Waikanae was brilliant yesterday. 20-25 knots. Dunno what it was like there today, i thought it would have been too windy? please don't tell me i missed 25 knots!! It was off the page here in the city, twice that amount, checked a few more spots out, no polies... WTF??

but waikanae was similar to yesterday.
in a NWer it's usually about half of wgtn harbour once you get past pukerua bay.

oh crap... and i had one freakin good sesh yesterday. Wonder if there was anyone else out there. Oh well looks like i'll have to make up for it tomorrow then. haven't heard anymore from smpl so i'm assumin that the 6am lyall bay sesh isn't a happening thing. but here's hopin for Petone to deliver tomorrow. Any chance that i won't be doin a solo sesh?

lets check wind.co.nz around lunchtime to see if either petone or lyall has the better wind.

i tend to go rather down to lyall bay as i can see it from home and petone is a 20min drive through town and motorway.
the airport is reading 10kn at the mo, but i guess it is more like 5-8kn.
